HarvestFest Sunday - FREE ADMISSION
Sunday, October 17 from 1-4pm
This free community open house offers a relaxing Sunday afternoon of self-guided tours of the mansion and gardens, rental event planning area, Scarecrows 101, cooking demonstration, light refreshments and door prizes. Everyone is welcome.
Great Pumpkin Pottery
Tuesday, October 26 from 4-5pm
Help raise the Great Pumpkin out of the pumpkin patch! Create your very own pumpkin pot and plant a special plant in your pot to keep the spirit of the Great Pumpkin alive all year long. The fee is per pot. Parent must attend with child.

“Fall Harvest” Participatory Culinary & Tablescape Evening

Les Tableaux and Global Table are pleased to invite you to an evening of elegant food, wine and tablescapes. Chef Marc Chodera will offer ideas for maximizing the Fall harvest bounty, share 3 prepared dishes and deliver a Takeaway Guide with sourcing and recipe ideas—while you trade Thanksgiving Dinner tablescape ideas with Bryn Reese and Dean Klovens of Les Tableaux—all while enjoying the historic surroundings of Cheney Mansion.

Join Santa and his elves for this wonderful family tradition. Live music, a model train layout, a visit with Santa and a gift bag are all included. Please bring a new toy or book to donate to a local charity. Maximum of one family per registration. Tickets are not refundable, or exchangeable for different seatings (unusuable tickets may be returned to the Park District for donation to a local charity). Bring your cameras to take a photo with Santa!

The Artful Amaryllis - FREE ADMISSION
Sunday, November 14 from 11am-4pm
Our 9th annual sale features an abundant variety of amaryllis bulbs, including hybrids, miniatures and novelties, plus traditional holiday favorites. Depending on the variety, bulbs are timed for blooming from December through March. Creatively gift packaged, they make a great hostess gift or holiday present. The mansion will be open for viewing during the show. Light refreshments provided.

Classical guitarist Michael Anthony Nigro performs! Celebrating the music of Spain and South America, his program features compositions be Fernando Sor, Francisco Tarrega, Isaac Albeniz, Jose Luis Merlin, Jorge Cardoso and many others. Professor of Guitar at Vanguard University of Southern California, Nigro is a co-founder of the Long Beach Classical Guitar Society, and independent reviewer of Soundboard Magazine.

Amy Jill Holiday Jazz Concert

Enjoy this holiday concert featuring jazz vocalist Amy jill and pianist/vocalist Bradley Williams with his jazz trio, showcasing songs from their CD, Snow Snow Snow Snow.
